Z4 3.0 Coupe market watch

Insp 1 was 7 months late and yes the 2015 should have been an insp 2 - presumably cheaped out because of selling / low miles done between 13 and 15. I would try and do it sooner rather than later but again its done to cost..

I was looking at this one and gave a deposit in the end. It seems in good condition and has the colour I wanted. The last two inspections were done by bmw so would it not have been carried out ? So I should get inspection 2 done this year on the next service.

So it's been prepared for the track, but never actually driven on one? Right... not sure I believe that.... So it's overpriced, likely thrashed and to boot, it's got a filthy engine bay and highly questionable wheels.... Nice colour though :D

Not surprised. Certain scam or dimwit seller... Coupé, 40k miles ish, £4K, 3 pics. Most likely just nicked the pics...

Maybe like the one I saw last year that was allegedly located in Trondheim!

Saying that Z4Cs do seem to be creeping up - I sold my Ruby Black one to another Forum member (who is aware of that) for a bit more than I paid.

Realising I had made a poor decision I bought another 2 days later.

After all I don't want to miss out, and what could you possibly replace one with (other than another of the same)!

Id say prices had held tight certainly over the 3-4 yrs of my Z life & no reason why that will change .
As you say its not impossible to buy / maintain / sell at a small "profit" on actual price paid but that would most likely have been eaten up in service & upkeep costs .
Still nice to be in motors that are both enjoyable to own & offer virtually zero depreciation if bought wisely

Exactly, I'm not looking for an investment I just want a fun car that won't depreciate while I look at it! (Had enough of that with my pre-registered 123d - lost about £16K in 6 and a half years and 81K miles)

It suited the purpose I needed it for when I bought it, was pretty quick but never really fun!

Hence my Z4 addiction!
