This one deserves to struggle

Why ? OK, the wheels and interior colour is not to my taste, but otherwise I couldn't spot anything particularly bad...

That's it, the interior and wheels are pretty gross and will put off the majority of buyers whatever the spec' and history.

It's been for sale for quite a while.

This looks like a nice well cared for example.
The ad reads well.
The interior probably not to everyone's taste.
Wood dash and too much beige.

I like the colour scheme (other than the wood, although that can be fixed), but that does look strong money for an auto with that mileage IMHO and based on my purchases!

He'd do himself a favour reverting to BMW wheels. Those brakes look like they've led a hard life and possibly aftermarket? Something about the drilled discs and BBS wheels are telling me it's been put through it's paces... Call me judgemental

I'll guys, had a test drive in the Z4 Coupe today.
Does anyone recognise it? Maybe a forum members old car? It drove well, very strong engine and gearbox but a fair few scuffs on the bodywork and interior, especially the steering wheel stereo controls and interior door handles had taken a pounding from wedding rings etc. The front valance had seen a curb, mostly underneath but still scraped nonetheless and a chunk out of one of the wheels. Dealer said he'd detail it to get the bodywork scuffs out and repair the wheel. Thought i could hear a slight whine on test drive, it wasn't the gearbox possibly fuel pump or an engine ancillary hopefully not the differential.
Any thoughts guys?

You should bear in mind its a 10yrs+ car with a good few miles covered (97k ) with a few different owners :? these aren't 1 owner , demo cars from a main dealer so buyers do have to be prepared to put some time , effort & cash into getting a car how they want
My advice would be to look & drive at least 3 / 4 similar examples to get a good grasp of what is or isn't "normal wear + tear "

OP, I'd echo what Mr Wilks said.

By the way I'm pretty sure it is Montego Blue (not Le Mans blue). And it does look like it has a few options in addition to Cruise - rear parking sensors, heated seats, multi-function steering wheel and Xenons!

Seeing as it is a trader selling it the price doesn't look excessive IMHO, so long as you are happy with it's condition and history.

And it is a great colour, obviously.

This could be worth a look and a few questions to the seller: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201703073034752?atmobcid=soc3

Attractive price.

Certainly is - if the condition is good and history stacks up that looks like a bargain!

It seems rather cheap, but I'd want some questions asked about how well it has been maintained judging by its MOT history.

Spoke to this dealer about this car less than 2 weeks ago.I was very interested.
I was inquiring about transport companies as i live in N. Ireland and told him this.
As i was unable to view i asked him to send me a few more detailed photographs which he said he would do.
Never got the photos.
One hour later he text to say his colleague had taken a deposit on the car.
No worries i thought as first with the money gets the car.
He had it priced at £8995.
Today it is back up for sale at £9995.

Just saw this one on AutoTrader - assuming it checks out that looks like a good deal for someone!

I think it was mentioned a few pages back.
Silver would be the only negative for me.

I've been watching this one for a few weeks. Price has been dropping. A real bargain now!

I saw this one too. It does seem very cheap for a low mileage, reasonable spec example. No mention of service history, maybe this is the 'catch'??

Well I just put a deposit down on the blue Coupe :D
Dealer is doing a few minor jobs for me ready to collect next weekend, will post some pics when when I've got some

60k coupes are getting rarer , this one even more so in PY finish :) £10K ? fair ask id say right now all things considered .
Id love to have it tucked away for this winter
