Been looking for a Z4 for a while now, been urging myself to hold out till late Dec early Jan when prices will be low. But how much lower?

I did some research purley on parkers:

At the end of September prices for a 2003 (03) 3.0 2d were:
Independant dealer £8,840
Private Good £8,185

Mid way through November they were:
Independant dealer £8,195
Private Good £7,585

At the end of September prices for a 2005 (55) 3.0 SE 2d were:
Independant dealer £12,115
Private Good £11,255

Mid way through November they were:
Independant dealer £11,240
Private Good £10,445

So with the biggest price drop of £875 in about a month and a half, I'm gunna force myself to keep waiting!

Though i would share, anny comments?

Convertibles do historically tend to drop in Autumn and recover March /April time .Must admit bought mine in January ...........probably bottom of price curve.
I notice my Dealer has no Z4 anywhere in sight now .

We buy any car offered me £5,500 for my Z4 3 litre, then when i came back from Florida saying "good news your car has gone up in value its now £5,995". Tossers, I know i could sell it now for £7,500 privately. I think the Roadster prices seem to fluctuate with the seasons, I wouldn't dream of letting my Z go for under £7K its worth more to me. If i need another car the Z stays in the garage sorn in the winter and i buy cheap 3 or 5 series to run in the winter.

good old "we buy any car" offred me £9260 and just last week put it up to £9600 bless em how do they do it and still make a profit? :o
