The all new 'Mileage Poll'
E89 only (there is a separate poll for E85/E86)

This will run forever and be dynamic, meaning as your mileage climbs into a higher band you can re-enter it :)

You should have another one with miles covered under ownership.
Ours has just over 50,000 but already had around 23,000 when we got it.

Not fair! I've only had mine since November!

Miles covered / years ownership = miles per year

I think this would be just as interesting as how many miles are on cars.
Some cars could be sitting at 80,000 + miles with the original owner covering them all.

So from what is declared thus far, around 30k off the old shape, for a series that is six/seven years fresher. These cars are possibly more about the daily commute than the weekend special, interesting data. :)

Definatley the daily commute for me, no parking to have another car. But then, means I get to drive her daily

Just discovered this zombie thread as someone had updated the e85 poll & I went searching

34k effectively here

11 plate

my understanding is the original owner was a BMW employee who drove it round London Town
Second owner - no nothing about
Third owner - Cambridge based & since the car averages out at about 3k a year I’m assuming they were a weekend driver of the Zed

It’ll be a daily for me once the mrs goes back to the office but I average about 8k a year so not high mileage

Bought mine last Nov on 74k, now on 77k, expect to do 5k per year based on a mix of work commute and weekend toy but mostly option 2 :D

Purchased mine as a daily commuter on 19k in 2017, since retiring a year later it’s become a sunny weekend car with 42k
Rob

Just reached 38k on my 2016 20i, bought 12 months ago as a weekend toy / 2nd car with 33k on the clocks. The BMW AU warranty is due for renewal in a couple of weeks but I don’t think I’ll bother as the cars been remapped, fitted with a decat pipe, intercooler and B12 suspension so that would void most claims.

I am going to retire sometime in 2023. The only commuting I do is to the bottom of my stairs. Hoping to keep my Zed. Got 32k on the clock.

Just over 13k in my Sept 2016 (35is) Summer time /Dry weather toy.
Bought new by me so I know its history!

Mid 2013 car. Just gone over the 26k mark. That's 3.250 miles a year and it's had 6 owners! Anybody would think it has been a summer toy all it's life. And the roof still doesn't work properly! :)

Mines a daily driver. 2012 reg with 74500 miles on the clock. I do about 4000 miles a year, and it had about 59000 miles on it when I bought it in Oct 2017.
