Excellent condition. Low Mileage just under 20,000 miles. 8 Speed Auto (with shift paddles on the steering wheel) Full Main Dealer Service History & balance of Manufacturers Warranty till April 2016 & service inclusive till April 2018. Owned by me from new. Quite a rare colour combination of Mineral White metallic with Walnut Leather. High specification, in addition to the M Sport package which includes M Sport suspension, M Sport steering wheel w/ gearshift paddles, M aerodynamic bodystyling & sport seats, this car also has many important options including:

- Navigation system - BMW Professional Multimedia
- Voice Control
- 19" double spoke alloys style 326M
- Seat Heating
- Loudspeaker system BMW Professional
- Exterior and interior mirrors - folding, automatically dimming
- Park Distance Control front and rear
- full Bluetooth/USB interface
- Wind Deflector

This Z4 is in truly excellent condition, I am a mature BMW enthusiast and always like to take care of my cars, regular servicing, wash and wax via two bucket method, etc.

Really lovely to drive with the roof up or down I will be sorry to see this car go.

I am looking for £20950, but open to sensible offers as a new car is on its way

I will still be enjoying the car while it is for sale so the mileage may rise slightly

Why are you selling? What are you getting to replace it.

Bit of a change in circumstances, weve been running 3 cars between myself and the wife, but both working closer to home now so cant really justify having 3 cars (excluding my track car, that doesn't count !) so cutting back to just two and replacing the Z and the wifes mini with a new F56 JCW Mini....

Top quality lurking, no posts in 2.5 years

I mostly work from home now, but never thought about reducing the car count … 8)

Is the 28i a 4 cylinder turbo ?

Yes Gaz, up to 2012 I think it was they we're 6 cylinder.

Ok they're not now which is a pity but still plenty of grunt and good running costs. Top of my head I think 0-60 is around 6.5 so no slouch.

The 28i effectively replaced the 30i (3 litre 6 cylinder)
0-60 on a manual 30i is 5.6, auto is 5.9
0-60 on an auto 28i is 5.3, manual is 5.5

The 28i has 241bhp/258lbs torque vs 254 bhp/229lbs torque
quoted mpg is 41mpg for the 28i and 34mpg for the 30i
30i has the better exhaust note and personally i wouldn't swop mine for a 28i

I know what you mean re the 3.0 straight six, I used to have an E92 330i, that was a sweet engine. But, in defence of the 28i, BMW has tuned a bit of a bark into the exhaust note which although no straight six it doesnt really sound like a 4pot either, I think they have managed to create a sound which is really quite pleasing especially with the roof down. I was a bit hesitant moving away from the traditional 6cyl BMW, but I was doing a 250 mile round trip every week at the time so economy was also a factor when I bought the car (but obviously not the main factor).

Price reduced to £20950 ono, and checking the docs ive recalled that it came with 5 year service inclusive pack.

Now sold. I will miss this car, its been great. Its going back into BMW dealer network, a different dealer found a customer looking for a 28i made and made an acceptable offer.
