Z4 23i Exhaust update

Hi everyone
I will change exhaust on my 23i with stainless middle section. I keep standard / original manfold.
There is catalytics on manfold but do you know if there is also a catalytic on middle section ?

If true, can we remove this (third catalytic?) without errors engine code ?

I don't think so, otherwise there would be an oxygen sensor after it downstream

what is not the case. right?

pretty sure the original is stainless..
