Z4 2013 2.0 SDrive 78.1k Miles

Hello,

Regretfully family challenges mean I need to sell my 2013 Z4 2.0 M Sport SDrive in Red and buy something more economical and appropriate for work (5Series 520d SE ED), looking at prices offered by the dealer & the clowns at webuyanycar.com. I'm going to sell Privately if i can.

Car has just over 71,800 miles on the dial and has passed it's MOT with no advisories in August, chassis is in good condition for it's age, with the usual assortment of chips from general use. The only issue I'm aware of is the left indicator sometimes flashes up on the dash and the clicking noise is paced, assuming the bulb needs to be swapped out, as the issue isn't 100% of the time. is also some lacquer peel on the front passenger side headlight washer.

Car is red and I paid £12,750 14 months ago, would like £9,250 for the vehicle, with two keys.

Currently my wife has it at work so will post some images tomorrow, happy for people to visit near Southampton and look the car over as it's a chunk of dough, but a wonderful vehicle I have to sadly part with.

Thanks for the post. It's a manual car.

With regards to spec, I'm not sure what the addons are in that period, but it has the screen that comes out of the dash, which most didn't when I was looking. Heated seats, looks like dual climate controls for passenger & driver.

I've added new BMW mats for passenger & driver as well.

I'll take a good spread of photo's tomorrow and post them up.

I am genuinely looking for a car and have asked relevant questions on the car which weren’t on the listing. I don’t know what the issue is here, I haven’t slated anyone’s cars or wasted anyone’s time. I have offered on a few cars and things haven’t worked out as the offers haven’t been high enough.

Start a new thread if you want to discuss it, I am more than happy too! I have never ever spoken to you so I don’t know where this hatred is coming from.

No hatred Ash, that's a very strong word, it's a forum, things are discussed,

But you must have asked for lots of details for well over a dozen + cars in a few years now, are you really looking or just musing...? It's just annoying when folk ask for this info and really have not much intention of buying. What are you looking for out of interest, E85, E86, E89, because you've asked for info on them all lots of times.

Just an observation as it's a forum. Nothing personal.

Oh my, this looks like it could be a nice car but I can’t tell through the muck and grime on the outside and the mess on the inside. Through my eyes this looks like a car that isn’t cared for. If you are serious about selling your car then clean it, polish it and hoover it and then take it somewhere for some better pics. Just my opinion of course.

I am looking for an E86 / E89 John around £7000 (can go more for the right car) as I have stated many times. I’d take a 3.0SI E85 but it needs to be bang on spec wise. (Xenons & 10 Speakers & Heated seats)

I am asking about cars I am genuinely interested in buying, I even have a wanted post! I am on the lookout and have been for a few months and will buy one when the right car comes up! I am fussy with my exact requirements, hence asking the questions. I know these cars inside out and am buying with my head and not my heart. I am asking general questions which IMO should be listed in the description, It’s a forum as you state so why can’t I ask genuine questions?

Not once have I slated another member or their car so I don’t get where this negativity towards me has come from, I haven’t wasted anyone’s time and I have never even spoken with you!

If I ask questions and don’t get the answer I am looking for I don’t take it any further it’s as simple as that, that’s hardly wasting anyone’s time it just means the car isn’t for me based off of the information I have. I could list the negatives and my reason why I don’t want that exact car on the thread but that’s not going to help the seller sell the car is it so I just keep quiet!

I am not interested in a car with loads of unfixed advisories on an MOT or patchy Service history, I am after a decent well looked after car which there doesn’t seem too many of these days.

If you want to discuss it further PM me or start a new thread, I don’t want to clog up this for sale thread. Maybe our paths will cross one day and you’ll see I am a genuine person!

My thoughts exactly.
I was thinking the asking price is low, but those pictures make it look like a shed. An hour with a sponge and a bucket of water could make it worth a lot more IMHO.

On the comments pertaining to appearance, I don't dispute the overall point, however "a shed" and such feels somewhat dramatic.

The reality is the car is used by two full time working parents to multiple disabled children, whose working week means only 1 at home at a time, nor do I expect anyone to care, the situation means the extremely limited free time goes on maintaining sanity over the car.

The points around making it more presentable to sell, completely valid and heard. I need to sell quickly as I cannot afford the petrol costs in this vehicle, which is used daily and hence the condition, it isn't sat on the drive all week to roll out at the weekend. It's priced to sell quickly and whoever does get the vehicle either privately or if its part exchanged is getting a wonderful car, which clearly should get more TLC than I can provide.

That said, Servicing is up to date, MOT passed with no advisories. I'm new so respect this is for enthusiasts and how I look after my car, won't be how everyone does it. I respectfully ask we keep the conversation positive.

To be fair at the price I could live with cleaning it up myself..well specced 13 plate sub 10k is very good value for anyone that can see past the muck, Im sure there's a decent car underneath ..a detail, wheel refurb and a remap and this could be a a great car for someone at a good price

Totally agree, some nice options on this car, couple of weekends of work, could be a wee diamond in the rough for someone here
