Hi,

Where would be the best place to get replacement front headlamps for a 2005 2.2 Z4?

I have water droplets inside which sometimes drys out but its looking long term I need to replace them.

hey, I don't know the current condition of your headlamps but there alterations that can be done to the current lamp to help reduce the condensation build up and prevent further build up of water in the lamp. From memory, I think it involves drilling a drainage hole or an airing hole in the lamps, but don't quote me on that. I'm sure a quick search on here will find a solution or repair. Good luck

Are yours halogen or xenon? Makes a big difference to the replacement cost.
I have a very good pair of Sonar headlights with white halo rings and black backings that will be available in the next week or so. Used but not very old and good condition.

I think mine are halogen.

I would need them asap, if they are for sale. Not sure what you mean by sonar.

I have seen a few at scrappers that come with 3 month warranty.

Checked with BMW and the price for new is ludicrous.

Looking into now how to remove the condensation but it seems like it could be an issue for the MOT, as it keeps returning. Normally I turn the lights on and drive and it goes away.

I sorted them this morning and put them up for sale on here.

Plug straight in to existing looms, with the addition of 3 wires on each one for the halo rings. The three earths are on a ring which you can attach via one of the mounting bolts. The three lives can all be linked, then across to the other headlight so you end up with six lives into one wire which you run to an ignition live on the fusebox, giving you DRLs.
