z4 2004 issues

HI! ALL i have a z4 2004 2.2 and ever since i have had it the engine management light was on. up to now whenever i get it switched off it always comes back on after about a week. and my small tool comes up with:2883 mixture preparation, bank 2 mixture too lean. i found one of the large air intake rubber hoses badly split and thought that might be my problem so i bought a new one from bmw but unfortunately the problem is still their. and i can also feel a flat spot the engine is not performing as smoothly as it should, i have had it fully serviced and checked for air leaks and still no joy. any help ideas would be much appreciated.
the other problem i have is i removed both seats (as recommended) to give the car a good clean but now the air bag/srs light is constantly on and when a passenger sits on the seat it does nt give the warning/sound to use the seat belt. before this the passenger occupancy sound was on continuously regardless if any one was sitting on the passenger seat on not now the sound does not come on at all.
all help and advice would be greatly appreciated

Copy and paste into the right forum and I guess you forgot to disconnect your battery before removeing seats? - Needs to be reset with BMW software, not your OBD2 reader :thumbsup:
