Z4 2003 first not charging now not starting help!!

:headbang: on my z 2.5i 2003 i had a weird problem , first my altinator did not charge the battery, after a lot of googling , it was said 8 volt power on exiter wire, if you but direct power altinator charges, tested battery 100%, tester altinator 100%, now starter only clicking where to go now oke:

Not exactly sure I understand your post but ideally what you need to do is measure voltage on battery with just ignition on (engine not running) and make sure it's above 12.5V. Next, check voltage on starter motor when trying to start, it should be over 10V.

If both OK, could be either ignition switch problem or sticking starter solenoid. Give the starter a tap with a wooden mallet and see if it frees to confirm the latter. Otherwise read this... https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=101041&hilit=switch

If you have had battery / alternator problems in the past though it could just be a case of poor condition battery in which case new battery would be advisable. If you can check voltage on battery with engine running it should be above 13.8V @ 1,500rpm.

Thanx, i wil try that, they tested battery and alternator and no fault was found, the exiter wire only gave 8 v when you put a 12v source at back of alternator it charges that was before the not.starting episode

I did some searching, it seem that the ews wires going to the alternator and starter is the.problem . I need to reset or check ews . The starter wire that is starting engine has got very low current and that is why im stuck.
