Z4 2.5si water dripping

Hi guys I’ve just picked up my first zed ‘07 2.5si, but I’ve noticed water dripping from left side, also can someone tell me what is this reservoir for ? That’s full with water, and I think it’s dripping from it,

IIRC that’s not a reservoir for fluid, it has electrical gubbins in!! RE the dripping water - check the screen scuttle, sometimes they get bunged up with leaves etc and hold water...

AS above that is the ECU housing. Around that area though is a plastic drain with a rubber flap that drains from the windscreen scuttle. As a guess it needs a clean to unblock and allow to drain freely.

Sounds like it could be something simple.

My money's on a bunged up scuttle.
Wiper arms off, clips and scuttle off and have a good clear-out. If left too long you may incur a water ingress to the cabin.
