It's easier to do a new post, so I'll delete the other when I work out how to!!!
Bought from Mike @ The Zed Shed 12 months ago it’s a 2004 Sterling Grey 2.5i, FSH, 98k miles.
Good bits:
Vanos done by Mike (2020)
Clutch and flywheel done by Mike (2020)
Brakes and discs done by Mike (2020)
Roof motor relocated done by Mike
Genuine 300M 18" alloys with almost brand new PS4s
Spacers fitted
Almost brand new Royals steering wheel - perforated with black stitching
Brake lines done (two days ago)
Expansion tank done (3 months ago)
Wishbone and bushes done
Gaptech module - key fob to open the roof (2 keys)
Heated seats
Freezing cold air con
BMW performance 5 speed shifter
CD changer - telephone prep
Genuine floor mats almost like brand new
OEM wind deflector – slight mark, nothing major
Both seats are in fantastic condition. No bolster wear.
Bad bits:
Tiny bit of bubbling on front drivers arch (as shown in pics)
A few stone chips that have been touched up (no dents at all though)
Alloys could do with a refurb on the passenger side. Think they have been sprayed previously. Shame really as they are a nice gun metal grey
Roof looks a bit tired although it has no mould or sagging.
Other bits
I’ve done a rattle can job on the steering wheel controls. I would rate it 8/10 – not perfect, but looks a million times better than they did before
Ignore the black gear stick surround. The original was looking tired so I ordered a new one, when it arrived it was black…I have another on the way and will be fitted in a few days
It comes with a ram air scoop which is pretty rare now (I should know, I was looking for one a few weeks back). This was a forum car, so I think it is one of those made by someone on the forum. The plan was to take the front bumper off and put it on my new project, but I’m too busy with the new project to do it!
As with any of my cars it has been well looked after. Premium fuel, covered when not in use, fully detailed including Carbon Collective ceramic coating, always washed with a 2 bucket method.
When Mike did the Vanos he also did a secondary decat on the exhaust. It’s not that loud but gives a bit more over the standard noise.
All the black badges and the trim around the grilles are pre-cut vinyl’s so can easily be removed. I’ve left them on in case the new owner likes them!
I'm based in North Wales / Cheshire
I wouldn’t be selling if I hadn’t come from a Si. The power isn’t quite the same, but the engine is (and sounds) sweet as a nut.
Drop me a PM if you're interested.
