Expensive mods there - the Alpina bits aren't cheap...

OP, if you want it to look a bit more authentic, lose the Z4 badge on the boot - the RS doesn't say Z4 anywhere. The 2.5i on the front wings would still give it away though...

The alpine kits and wheels were dealer fitted when new its was a demonstrator
Really? Did you buy it new or were you just told that?

Not saying it didn't happen, just never heard of a BMW dealer putting in a special order for £4k+ of Alpina kit just for a demonstrator (never mind waiting the several weeks for delivery from Buchloe)

I have known the car from new I went car hunting with a good friend of mine in Oct 2005 he found this car in Rydale central BMW in Birmingham it was 6mths old its also has a hardtop ,i bought the car from him ,the way you see it in the pictures was the way it was in the showroom .

I don't believe in pretending its a Alpina when its not but I do think the wheels especially make the car stand out

That may actually make some sense - Rydale Central are part of Sytner who are the UK Alpina concessionaires so they might have wanted to show off the lines of the RS

Oh really I didn't know all that info ,I liked the car from the day he bought it and asked for first refusal when he sold it as it happened I had the money when he decided to sell ,I don't use it every day just weekends and trips.
