Hi All,

I have about £23k to spend and was looking for a 2013+ facelift model however I am struggling as I need something fairly soon! Therefore I am considering an older model.

So wondered if someone could please give me a list of year changes from 2010 - Present to help me.

Thank you.

Chris

Well the 2.0l have only been out 3 years now so older than that your looking at a 2.5 6 cylinder or a 3.0l 6 cylinder of different variants. Small changes made I.e. Slightly re styled lights wgen face lifted, indicators changed but you can retro fit these. Also the facelift models brought about a newer roof motor so you can raise and lower the roof up to around 25mph whilst moving. If you want that in an older model then you require a smart top or coding (I believe).

It was a very light change to be honest, focusing more on the 2.0l being released. Can't think of anything else really apart from the Ivory white interior pack was removed and replaced with the current version. Oh and you did get yellow as a colour option

Thank you for the reply.

The car I am looking at is a 2.0 and was registered 2nd of May 2012. It has the newer looking auto gear stick.

Would this have the newer roof motor allowing it to be opened when on the move?

Oh yes and the 8 speed box of going auto. Yes it should have the new roof motor but you could always ask to have a try just to be sure.

I think the only visual item it wont have by going for a 12 plate rather than 13 is the led lights in that case.

Guess its not too hard to change to the whiter colour rings?

Not hard at all, you can get the LEDs with the correct resistors. Plug and play. A lot of the things can be quite cheap retrofit options. only new headlights as in a while unit would be be a killer. Think they are over a grand.
