i think i have the highest actual mileage so far. think someone fcuked up by selecting 250k plus, if not I want custard proof :P
Ahem :poke:

Although you may catch up quite quickly as mine is now relegated to track/hoon duty - so won't be doing 25,000 miles a year an more.

Yeah I knew I wouldn't be top dog when you come along :P

So, I guess by looking at this pole im am getting one or two things... Please shed some light for me if you can....

These cars aren't making it much past 120k miles? or Just not that many people with high mileage on these cars?

This is my concern here as an owner of an 03 sport with 89k on the clock...

THX!!

Known a few e46s with the m54 engine in with over 200k, one had even been lpg'd. both were going strong still till about 12 months ago when one was written off. So obviously there's plenty of life left in the e85 by that measure, particularly as they don't seem to suffer from e46 disease. Even if that does start to become an issue, at least the rear wings are also bolt on.

This was my mileage a couple of weeks ago. Quite a satisfying number I think :)

Thanks for setting up the poll Marlon.

It will be interesting to see how it changes over time.

Mine's a relative youngster - only just 85K.

At an average of 9k per year these cars are only beginning to hit 126k on average so I'd say it's about right. Nothing to worry about :)

It’s fairly common with all sports cars to have lower mileage than other types of vehicles

Equally they tend to have higher numbers of owners

By nature they are a compromise and often bought as second cars or toys and owners often move on to something else or their lives change and they need something different

Hence many with much lower than average mileage’s

22k when bought, now 34k, used as a DD until last week when I picked up a diesel civic to save the Z miles for ones that don’t involve being sat on the M62 twice a day!
