Z3 Hardtop

Hi guys! Long time no see!
I used to be a member of the Z4um years ago, I did move over after the crash, but i also found PH and got stuck.

The z4 went years ago, but my friend has just got himself a Z3.
Now my question, how can he tell if he has a hardtop fitting kit?

If you ask on zroadster.net, there are photo's as they are more Z3 orientated.
there are metal 'slots' visible behind the back of the doors under where the roof is stored.
 
Not true, i moved over from Z3 to Z4 this year, my Z3 did not have the fitting kit. If you lower the roof you will see slots for the hard top if they are fitted. If not there it may be possible to source them through breakers or, very occasionally ebay, for around £250!
