Picked the bargain Z3 up yesterday morning / i don,t think the original sales bummphhh would have included the word "torque" :P its an auto , its 4 cylinder 140bhp & its best described as "lazy" :D
Original wheels off for a makeover & 2 rear tyres were almost on the canvas :o so its on a spare set of 108,s i had in garage
Anyhow here it is , into my indy next week for service / MOT & a lazy passenger window ?

Those 108s look great on it, really suit it. Is there a thread about this z3? Otherwise what's the story?!

It looks a nice old bus.
Nothing wrong with being a lazy old cruiser. :driving:
I know the old wheels are going back on. Those 108's IMO look too modern on the old Z.

Summer car or up for sale ASAP ?

Looks great, but not a fan of the chrome grill on the side, is that standard?

Other Z3 experts will jump in here but i always thought the chrome was for 6cyl model,s ? Which this isn,t so someone has "upgraded" at some point i suspect
I don,t mind them tbh & they will be staying on

There is a thread but briefly its a "buy/fettle/sell " exercise  i,m between jobs right now & time on my hands + cash in the drawer can be distracting .
It,s a gamble & until the next work contract comes along i,l hopefully make a few ££ out of something i enjoy doing

I owned a 1.9 manual for about 5 years never really took to the car
The wife loved it i would buy another but think i would have to go for 2.8 wide body

Looks nice Andy, the Z3 has really grown on me.

Wasn't too fussed about them at first but I love them now.

I do like the 108s on it. I'm not a fan of adding wheels that weren't available to the model but they really suit it well.

Nice looking Z, like the 108s too, there better ont car than stuck int garage.

Ref the passenger window, there's a great thread on zroadster website on how to re-lubricate. Worked a treat on mine, easy job if you have some time.

Looks nice I some times wonder if I should have brought a mint 2.8 z3 instead of a ropy z4!!

Have fun fixing it up. And I hope there is a few £££ in it for you

Ever seen 108's on a Z3

Think they really freshen it up & if were in yr place would keep them on
