Hello everybody!

I write from Switzerland and own since 2009 a small black Z4M Coupe'... didn't do much in terms of mods, just removed the CDV and ordered a set of Michelin PSS last week.
Since I read this forum a lot, i think the time is come for me to join it properly! Very happy to be part of it!

I will soon post some pics of my Z (some old pics, she used to be cleaner then :P)!

Welcome aboard.
A zed owner for 6 years now, so you must know more about Z's than most of us.
My, you've got lot of posting to catch up on !

Hi everyone! Thanks for the warm welcome ;)
Here are some (two, to be precise :P) pictures of my Z...
This was it, just after being polished and waxed! Since then she just got... dirtier... and she's got a new numberplate and a stubby.

I'm waiting for delivery of my new Michelin PSS (OEM sizes on OEM wheels) and was thinking about adding some spacers... What do you think, would they add to the stance? :driving:

lovely looking motor, nice shine on it
Spacers would be a nice addition, I'm considering them myself.

I just talked with my tire specialist, he said he can order the original BMW spacers from the factory.
They offer 10mm, 12mm, 15mm, 18mm and 20mm. I went for 12mm all-around, is that right?
I'd like to achieve the best possible look without having my tires rubbing!

I guess its personal choice, I've been recommended to get 15mm front and 20mm rear

Isn't that going to rub as hell? I heard about 15mm being the maximum for front and rear, but it'd rub at the rear if used with particularly square tires (such as the PSS)! Am I wrong?

20 and 15 will probably rub on an M - the offsets are different. 12 sounds sensible.

Lovely car, welcome to the forum

Sounds like you have the ordered the right offsets - looks like the setting are different for an ///M (see Bing's post)

Thank you very much for all the compliments! It's just a stock (and weirdly clean) Z!

I had a look around online, and it turns out the best combination would be 15mm front and 12mm rear...
I asked my tire specialist, he'll check if it is legal to run 2 different measures at the same time in Switzerland (it can get kinda difficult to change even the smallest bit of a car over here!). What do you guys think, 12mm all-around or 15mm/12mm (it being understood that it's legal!)?
