Z$ Bonnet cable Snapped

Can anybody give me some advice how to open the bonnet of Z4 2005 model 3I
,The cable is broken

Welcome to the forum but you're posting in the E89 section. Not really sure. Maybe you can pull of the kidneys for access :? Since you have only just joined it's the done thing to post photo's of your Zed

Try that post. You might also find that the cable is loose and not snapped.

You can get to the cable through the headlight cover in the wheel arch drivers side [right hand drive] It is easer if you take the wheel off. If you take the cover off you can see where the two cables join. You can pull it there and the bonnet should pop.
