Think hes playing on the fact thet they are ultra rare in white with red leather and sub 9k miles - but very expensive when you consider used prices of the E89 35is

Stuart has just bought a 2006 Roadster with 6k miles which was advertised at £18,850. This coupe is a 2009 car and only done 3k miles more. So for a much newer car there's a difference in asking price of about £5k and this is a Coupe, too, which command higher prices than Roadsters. It seems comparable to me.

There are clearly a few very low mileage examples out there up for sale or recently sold. Mine, johnnymillers, this one, two MC's in the US on another thread at 6k or less each. Someone's going to get a lovely car there.

Mileage and age aside, that is the singularly most expensive ///M I have seen, period. I have been looking regularly, even at coupes (therapy, just to continually remind me I don't want one). It does look lovely though :driving:

As I see it, the problem with buying a really low mileage car is that you're paying a premium for the lack of miles, and the moment you start to put miles on the car you're eating into the premium you've paid.

i see exdo's point and stuarts too, the car is fairly unique as is immie, purely because they have such low miles and are mint cars, the coupes are generally a few k more , one thing is certain in my mind the e89 isnt in the same league. the car is still a load of car for the money

Agree. sensible miles will do me fine.

5-6k per year is healthy with plenty of leg left.
