That's what I have done for the previous 3 winters.

However I just spent the entirety of last weekend clearing out junk so it can now live here. I feel I owe it to the old girl!

How do you get in and out of the car when it's in the garage? :o

My guess:

1: Leave driver's side window open so you can start the engine through that.
2: Reach in (might need a stick or something) and press the button that opens the top.
3. Climb in over the boot, and Bob's yer uncle!

Of course I have absolutely no idea if this is correct, but I had a bit of fun thinking about it.

Not a winter tip but one for if your garage is small. Put a thick piece of foam on the wall that you can open the door against stops any nasty bangs and paint scrapes. Definetly window down as well that helps.

This is my first winter with the Z4 and I am a little more concerned about driving it then my past cars mainly due to other drivers not paying attention. The last couple of years I have had some epic drives in the snow upto Cumbria in my old Celica. The roof will be down every chance I have you just can't beat it !!

Good quality screen wash is a must I'd steer clear of any premixed stuff better buying the concentrated bottles and mix your own.
