Its in my budget but seems pricey.

I don't think the price is bad for a low mileage example, but it's also 4 years old, and I'm always more wary of low annual mileage ones than average annual mileage ones.

Plus any of the teething problems that would have appeared during a normal 10,000 miles a year and covered by warranty will still be there, but have no warranty to cover them.

I understand having a 2nd car and only using it at the weekends, but this mileage is less than 50 miles a week which means it's probably be used for very short runs, which is not the best for the engine & gearbox, plus it's probably never had a proper service (although I'd be interested to see what the claimed 'full service history' consists of).

I'd be looking for something with a few more miles for a couple of grand less (and I'd be looking for a coupe anyway) - but at that mileage and price you'd want it to be PERFECT (and check out the history with the previous owner & HPI carefully). Check the reason for it doing so few miles - it might have done 8,000 in year one and they laid up, or it might have done nothing but crawl around town centres at 30mph.

Thanks for the feedback. I know its a second car as it belongs to the dealership owner and also know that the wheels will need a refurb.

It is very well specced :D

What kind of dealer doesnt recognise a personal plate though :? B Reg :lol:

Plate comes with it which leads me on to what happens to the original plate?

Seems a bit overpriced. Low mileage doesn't sell the car for me - its a BMW after all, not an Aston Martin or Lamborghini.

The original plate if it had one would be retained by the DVLA to be put back on the car at a later date or they would issue a age related plate.

My last car bought new by me would had a private plate from new but would have had a "GV05 XXX" for Kent/Sussex but as I sold it to a London BMW dealer it ended up with "LS05 XXX"

That's the one! :thumbsup: except they made a small mistake, it's a 3.4L

It's actually 3.346L, so 3.3L is a more accurate - the model is a 3.4S - which is still slower and has less hp/torque than an ///M :poke:

Alpina 3.4S = 3.346L, 300hp, 267lb/ft
Z4M = 3.246L, 343hp, 270lb/ft

that does seem a bit pricey, for that money i would rather have a facelift version with slightly higher miles. Also, i dont think thats the best colour for the Z4 'in my opinion' of course.
