All Z4 are expensive to insure. Only M cars will cost me £1k to insure (I'm 33 with full NCB and clean licence).

so how much is the Z4M?? that must cost a small fortune. I checked for myself (being a named driver and mum policy) and it came to around £1850!

Also, I wonder if having the hardtop will reduce it as it's safer??

Both M3 (E46) and M5 (E60) would cost me £1.2k, but a Ferrari 348 (1993) would cost me around £850 to insure. Insurance premium also depends on area. If home address is in small village, insurance is much cheaper.

I live in London... hmm... 13 million people by day, 7 million by night! So not what you would call small! :(

This hasn't turned into an insurance thread has it (YAWN  )

Has anyone actually sent their lights of to this company that does the angel eyes?

Tints can look nice if SUBTLE... IMO

Im 30 by the way so we're not all that old!

I think personally that you shouldn't tint the windows, as any sort of shading on the front windows of a car gets attention from the police (speaking from experience!)

I'm 22 now, and I've had my Zed for 18 months. Insurance was £1400 for my first year which I didn't think was too bad at all. The Diesel V8 RRS costs me more, as you might expect value wise I suppose.

Yeah i agree with tints can look nice if subtle.
This is mine, i have them all around, letting 42% of light through the rear and 54% on the front.

I don't think i'm a fan of tints on silver cars though...

Lucy, your car looks great - liking the changes you've made (calipers, badges etc.)

Also agree that the tints do set it off nicely.

Have you had any trouble with police for the tint shade?

I think so, depending on colour, and it should be very cheap too, less windows to tint :D

Mine is all balck, been considering it myself.

Too busy opening your top button to escape with only a warning :P :poke:

I'd never make a good traffic officer

I think the tints work better on a coupe personally. Due to the larger rear windscreen and rear3/4 windows.
