Regret selling these

So much regretted selling the Imp after 3 years i bought it back and re-did it up

You are lucky - you guys got the 'good' version of the TR-6 with petrol injection and decent power. Over here in the colonies we had to make do with carbs and gutted performance (~30% less power). I always owned earlier TRs (2 through 3B plus a Swallow Doretti) but always thought that the transformation from the TR-4 shape to the TR-6 was a miracle of low cost brilliance, making it look like a totally different car.

A friend used a TR-6 chassis to mount a widened TR-3 body on, powered by a Nissan 240SX engine.... he had to cut the body down the middle and add 4" to get it wide enough to clear the front trailing arm points.

I used to own a couple of Hillman Imps. Lovely little Climax engine stuck in a rather uninteresting (but reasonably light) box, sadly with swing axle front suspension that did nothing good for the car.

No more BMW :(

But my daily

Snap - my daily driver is also a 52 plate 325ti Sport Compact!

They are so much more fun than you would expect for what they cost!

But your Porsche looks lovely - I can see why you wish you still had it!

Yes, I enjoy driving the 325ti every day, it's just passed 90k miles. I did come close to thinking of converting it to a race car but with a current lack of workshop it's made sense to buy a ready to go race car.

Another piccie of my old 911 on track along with a video, the old girl did well for 191,000 miles!

My 325ti is on 94,000 miles, but is waiting to go to the mender's on Wednesday - it's leaking Power Steering Fluid. :(

So have you bought a race prepared one? I definitely need to go and see them next season - and the Z4s!

Yes, I've bought this one, it passed its inspection with flying colours. http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=91757

Absolutely love the 200's

I had a S14a for four years and sold it back in 2006 to buy my TVR, I would have it back in a heartbeat though and wished I'd kept it but at the time I really wanted a TVR.

My 200 is still the most favourite and fun car ive had by a country mile, enjoy :driving:

Had to do this Fishy Dave!

Just re-read it - it says car you want to own in the future. Well, the SS is well out of my price bracket, but I test drove thos amphibious car two years ago and it is still on my bucket list:
