Is the Islero a car you have owned or would like to own?

The bottom picture looks like a Fibrefab based on a Triumph TR.

Love the choice of car names
Heh, thx! And now 'Betty' (Z4) is part of the family!
Great collection btw. That red thing is insanely cool-looking. Details?

Daily was a Vauxhall Omega 2.2 DTI estate until it got written off 2 wks ago. Just put a deposit down on 09 520 diesel touring.
Wife has Z4 Coupe had it now for around 3 years.
I have E46 M3 convertible for wk end toy.
Future cars I don't really have one at the mo I would rather spend money on the M3 whilst it is very good condition i would like to have the interior retrimed and a complete respray so that it is in show room condition.

That is a pic of my 69 Islero S, one of 100 built. Best sounding car I have ever owned!

The Fiberfab body is correct, but it is on the better (than TR) handling MGA chassis and I have re-engined it with a GM 3.4 V6 with 5 speed, although slightly disguised.

Loving this...details please.

My daily driver - less than 1200 coupes built, and of those less than 300 with the turbo and manual trans.
Faster than the Z4M as I have tuned it to 375 bhp and 375 Tq (pretty good from a 2.0), but not as pretty or nice sounding.

This from last Saturday, I had a complete change of cars in the last month, and the Disco was what I wanted

IMG_0300.JPG

Daily driver - Cherished Z4M roadster
Weekend car - Nissan R35 GTR Litchfield 700bhp
Track car - MR2 Spyder with 2ZZ-GE engine/cage etc
Long distance cruiser - L494 Range Rover Sport Autobiography Dynamic

Would love an air cooled Porsche in there somewhere but running out of space to keep them. So need to save up for a bigger property first.

my third and finest stag

(Gave up on the Morgan!)

Lovely looking Stag!

I always fancied one back in the day, but struggled to get insurance in my early 20s so I had a P6 Rover 3500S followed by V6 Capris!

Just as quick (which was all that mattered then  ) but the Stag always seemed to have so much more class - enjoy!

I know, it sounds amazing and drives like a new car. Its had a £12k plus rebuild in the last 4 years including engine, transmission and interior...

the body was restored a few years earlier
