I do miss the illumination from the OE knob, plus the metal ones are bloody cold in the chilly weather! :?

Also had the zhp knob , but changed to Storm v1 ! Far better feel when changing gear & looks way better !

Just a heads-up: Storm will only knock the postage off the titanium plated V1 gear knob (about £4.50, apparently). Won't get the titanium plated handbrakes in for three weeks, either.
 
I found the original baseball bat gear knob too long and made the shifts (especially between 1st and 2nd) very notchy. The ZHP is more comfortable to use (the shorter height sits better with the original armrest) and the weight has made shifting easier.

I used to think the same about not having an M badge in my car as it wasn't an M, but heck, it's not like I'm putting M badges on the outside of the car :)
