OK so my first car was my brothers "hand me down" a 1956 Austin A30 ! he bought it as an Art Student in London to be "groovy" in 1982 and then when it ran out of MOT left it at my mum & dads house here in Manchester..... When I was 17 I had it MOT'd and then ran it for 18 months before the floor fell out and it went for scrap !! it was Black with Red leather interior (it was so cool) it had white wall tyres !!!!!!!!!!!! and I can still remember the smell of the leather interior !!!! the reg no was - SXO 844 ! - very sad it was a great little car - I am so very sad I kept the Winged "A" from the bonnet and it still lives on in my recording studio ! happy days and great fun
