Your Favorite Wheels for your E85?

Love my style 241 star spokes, more so now the car is a bit lower and they’ve been spaced out a bit. 3D profile and concave shape is cool, and they’re super rare.

My 08 3.0si came with 241's
I wasn't thrilled with the bright silver colour and came up with a 2 tone silver and shadow chrome. After I grew bored with that (The shadow chrome wasn't exactly what I thought it would be, I finally decided upon anthracite which I think is the best so far.DSC00525.JPG

I have 102s which were on the car when I got it, but I really don’t like them much. Can’t sell or give them away unfortunately - nobody seems to want them

Currently running BBS CH 19, but wish I were able to run type 37 M-parallels as they’re one of my all-time favourite wheels

Looks like you’re trying to make them look like thin 5 spoke wheels. All silver looks best as you can see the design. IMO of course.

When I got my first Z4 last summer and I decided I really liked the the look of 107s on a silver car. I think some wheels only look good on cars of particular colours. Anyhow I chose silver 107s on a silver car.

I totally agree, some wheels look great on certain colours. For me on my silver E85 the 107's it came with look great, followed by MV2's. That said I think the 107s do age the car somewhat. Having now tried a variety of different BMW 18" styles I do always end up coming back to my 107's. If I didn't have Silver I do like the 224's but to my eyes they're like a lot of wheels, they look a bit plain on Silver but great on most other colours.

After market wise there's a number of wheels I like but they'd have to be 19s as the aftermarket 18s just dont do it for me. Unfortunately I dont want to compromise the ride quality so there a bit of no no!

I went for two tone 108s but also like the 666m wheels but not sure they would look right on a Zed, Has anyone tried these on there Zed.

I really liked my old 106 Turbines but sadly they are 17" only. The two-tone 108's go well with Sterling Grey IMHO :D

Very fond of my "not CSL" wheels (7 Y spokes rather than 8 on the CSL and reps), and just as high a quality (forged barrels) without the rep for cracking. Also 18s so better ride and cheaper rubber!

What is the difference between the 107 and the 202?

My car came with 108s, but I always liked the 107. I now have a set of VMR 718s (CSL reps) on the car. But I did not sell my 108s in case I want to swap back in the future to change things up.
