If this was Proportional Representation I reckon Sepang Bronze got a lot of second preference votes (me included). That's the only reason I can think of to explain why it polls so well yet BMW sold so few.

If you were spending 50k on a car sepang is a hard colour to swallow, same with pheonix.

at <20k maybe not.

Numbers do tell all.

Saying that white was hugely unpopular mid 2000s and now has a huge revival. Still looks better on the E89 than the E85/6.

Yep, buying when 1 - 3 years old you tend to consider ease of selling on or px. hence grey/silver/black tend to be popular. There would be loads of white had the car been produced 2010/12 as that became the popular colour for cars.

Happen to think all the offered colours look good on the M. Love sepang and phoenix especially on the coop.

I see that Midnight Blue got 17 votes when I looked at the results and according to the BMW UK table on another thread 17 was the total official number imported to the UK.

If all goes well I may be joining the exclusive club, saying no more at the moment don't want to count my chickens .

Interesting Sepang Bronze 3rd favourite but 2/9 Roadsters are currently for sale... Is it a case that you have to own a zed to realise how good the M looks in this colour.

Interesting thing polls voted Sepang, Imola and Interlagos

Bought Titanium with Imola interior ... Goes to show to a certain extent the problem with Opinion Polls
We say one thing and then do another.

I always thought silver grey but really like black and interlagos blue isn't far behind, I bought one in silver grey but I'm still unsure what I'd rather have.

Sometimes grey seems boring, others its classy. Maybe the darker space grey would be better for me but iirc they're rare as hens teeth.

Different colours work better or worse on the coupe compared to the roadster too.

I have followed grey cars on motorway etc..and they blend into clouds.
