well who you with?

i have got down to 630 ish on comparison sites

That would be telling :P

I think it is through the Royal Sun Alliance (but could be wrong) The broker is IAM Select - only open to IAM members though :D They promise to beat your renewal which they did.

i have 3 points on my licence from 4 years ago, other than that nothing, i am 46, so good question, why?

my car is a 2009 automatic coupe

The other alternative is do what I did 'when I were a lad'

Get a car worth £1.5-£2k and insure it third party fire and theft. Build up the NCD and go comprehensive then. Plus if they smash it (as most 17 year olds probably will at some point) make it clear it comes out of their pocket. Therefore no money, no repairs, no more car.

How many years no claim? Churchill no longer care about garage parking either anymore ...

I have maximum no claim, tracker, 4 cars insured (3 with Churchill), no points, increased excess level of £250 (in addition to compulsory £150) and married. Think that is all that matters for insurance purposes ...

That sucks Taz - I'm 23 and paying £850 fully comp, 5 years protected no claims. And I thought soft tops carried higher premiums :poke:

Sorry OP doesn't really help you

Admiral

Yours is an 3.0SI right? Worth more too of course if that affects premiums?

:headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

and your wife is down as a named driver, as this will reduce the amount you pay as long as she has no points or accidents the the last x years.

:) Adding a woman driver brings down insurance quotes

except my wife who had a prang so had to come off the Z4, but was still cheaper to stick her on the old banger than leave her off.

likely your proximity to Manchester, Taz
I'm paying close to 800. Never ever claimed for anything, never had a point on my license. 16 years trouble-free driving. But live within 10-20 miles of Manchester = inflated insurance.

either that, or they've had spies out watching your driving... to be honest, I'm surprised you're not paying more ;)

ah my twin brother tweed, i was actually going to pm you and ask roughly how much your was

so we are paying for all the manchester scroats  :headbang:
