Not sure if it's worth me watching or not, as it may just cause irrational anger a random on the internet for simply sharing their (wrong) opinion :D

Although I'm not sure how much stock I'd put in randoms (even motoring journalists) trying to tell me what I should buy...as they're not me and don't know what I want.

They may say the Roadster is the better option due to being cheaper for the same power, and can have the roof down...but that would ignore the fact that I simply wouldn't buy a roadster. There's nothing inherently 'wrong' with them...just not what I like.

Having owned both... 4 year in the Mcoupe and 2 years with the roadster... The roadster is the better experience from feeling in touch with the road and the noise and feel the coupe can't come close too.

The coupe is better looking, marginally better to drive because of its faster rack (on the road)

I hated roadsters when I owned my coupe literally wouldn't have ever thought of buying one. Then I sold the coupe and bought a Boxster really didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would but loved the top down and came back to the Z4M but a roadster.

Love both but I wouldn't buy another coupe honestly, the roadster just a great all round package.

Always interesting to read another persons take on the cars. It will always be each to their own taste at the end of the day. The ///MR was the first roaster I ever owned. I doubt I will ever go back to driving coupes for fun now. If I buy another Sunday car, it may well be an Mx5. Crap in a top trumps conversation down the pub. But the driving experience is just spot on. :D :driving:

Thanks for posting. Nothing wrong with having a preference for either.

I came from an air cooled 911. Loved it, but wanted something I could enjoy roof down, preferably with an epic engine. The Roadster has that in spades for me. The first time a drop the roof in a while, the sound and whole experience is amazing. Love it!

Depends what you’re after.

If you enjoy top down motoring then a roadster is the bargain out of the 2 and the one to go for.

If you are after a drivers car then the Coupe is the one to go for due its stiffer chassis.

Personally I think the Coupe looks cleaner also, however that is a matter of personal preference.

i tried both at new.....

went for the roadster, just felt more special , now with the additional mods its feels down right incredible to thread down a back road!
