Lots of treasure was found in antique and thrift shops.
Brother in Law owns a trendy shop on Queen St W in Toronto. Sells trendy stuff to modern Hipsters. For the Sixty Somethings here ..Hipsters somehow like 60's and 70's stuff that most of us my age have taken to the dump after our parents passed and we were stuck cleaning out the homestead.
Now a whole new generation thinks it's cool and vintage ??? I just hunt the stuff that piques my memory banks ..Christmas Stuff from the 60's..Even those lights that never worked unless every freekin bulb was good ...Typewriters and thermos' !!! Salad Bowls even !!! Go figure but I found lots of ridiculously inexpensive treasure in New England ...So I just had to get it for my Bro In Law to sell.
Top find (meaning cool stuff by my cloudy estimation (Im no hipster but might need a hip replacement ) ..
I found a stack of formal Tuxedo Shirts , fresh from the laundry back in the 1920's. Obviously from some ancient closet. These things were all slightly different and with the laundry wrap still in place. No collars cause they were in a separate bag ...starched and ready to be snapped around your neck (I think cause this is all well before my time). Hopefully if Bro can't sell them, he can trade them with the vintage clothing store.
The 5 day tour had us venturng from Toronto to Boothbay Harbour, Maine via Stowe Vermont. Return similar route through Smugglar's Notch Vermont with a swing past Watertown NY on the way home. I heard they had some pumpkin flavoured M&M's halloween candy there.

I was gliding the Zed over some of the most fabulous..roller coaster inspired, amazingly paved roads I have ever had the pleasure of driving. Pictures would have never captured the truth in those roads.
Discovered 'alternative' setting on my Tom Tom and does that guy Tom understand alternative routes.
Adirondak mountains ..down to the sea with Lobster Rolls and fried clams from the dock !
Plus in Mid Sept ...Like I was the only car brave enough to pick "alternative". Almost no traffic (true) and I was totally guided by Tom which means I was honestly ignorant of where I was for the most part.
So for any New World Zedsters .. You better get yer arses up to New England or shame on you. Just keep yer hands outta my junk shops !!!!
