You never know whats round the corner

I went to work on the 24th June feeling fine, came home early feeling pretty rough, ended up in A&E and got home yesterday after 12 days of IV antibiotics for a perforated gallbladder and blood sepsis.

The worst bit - My zed is sat in exactly the spot I left it but it's now looking very grubby and dejected and I have no prospect of cleaning it or driving it for at least another week :(

Still, it could have been a whole lot worse so onwards and upwards :)

I thought this was going to be about something else.

I came blasting round a corner on a country lane last week and an idiot farmer had just stopped his tractor in the middle of the road with a big plough spike type thing sticking out the back at head height. Thought I was a goner.

Anyway, hope you make a full and speedy recovery.

Sorry to hear of the ill health. Hope you're feeling well soon. Be patient, better days are ahead - don't push it too soon.

I had similar problem about 2 years ago, prior to that i had been having a problem for three years on and off.
I ended up having the gall blader out which was a lot less painfull than the grief the gall blader had been giving me.
Keep off the fatty foods.

Thanks for the support, especially for one so new round these parts, you're a lovely bunch :)

My diet was resonably low fat anyway and I've always been fairly healthy and active which is partly why it came as such a shock I think. Got to rest up for a few weeks and go back in a couple of months to have it removed.

I'll content myself with staring out of the window at the Z for the time being with a view to going for a drive at the weekend, all being well.
