Pretty sure mine has some residue on it but never thought much of it. Will clean it up and give it a tweak.
 
Just had an Oil Service today with the advisory of a slight oil leak in the engine, probably the timing chain tensioner. Same problem as above I assume, not able to fix this myself though
 
Have you got a socket set Mark. If do buy yourself a 32mm socket and nip it up.

Or ask where you had it serviced to nip it up for a drink.
