So last week I went out in the Z4. An admittedly rare experience in these restricted times. On starting the car I noticed that the bottom of the temperature gauge read COLD as an actual word. Once I'd got to the motorway junction and the needle had started to move up the gauge, the text has disappeared! Am I the only one who's not noticed this until now or it is something they've added with one of the OTA updates?
 
Not noticed that. Might depend what display you have on at the time?
I’ll look in the morning!
 
Finally remembered to look this morning. Yup it says cold! Guess some people don’t know how to read a gauge. ;)
 
Funnily enough I noticed this on the 120d (new shape) last week. I'm sure it wasn't there before the last update?

They do some odd little tweaks. For instance, did you notice that the previous update changed the coasting fuel consumption.
Before, when I coasted it showed 99mpg. Now it shows 90mpg.

Mine isn't updated it also has it :)
