Hi everyone,

Well new to the forum and also new to BMW as this is the first one I have ever had “so fingers crossed” I went through a lot of the posts on here to get every ones fellings and feedback on the Z4 and finally made the decision to buy one last week, every ones seems very positive about the car and all the forum members seem to be very friendly and supportive, so thought I would say a BIG hello and share some pictures of my new Baby Blue. 2007 Z4 si coupe :)

Q: I have read just about all the posts on the forum but cant make my mid up as to what to go for as far as speakers are concerned, so If anyone has any suggestions for a good 3 way component set that would fit in the Z4 I would be grateful as I cant seem to find a set that will fit anywhere, Also if anyone has had a CDV done around the Yorkshire area and can recommend a garage that would be great too.

Welcome... pics look great.... seems like you've got it all planned out!

Just one thing, if you've not had them before, give the F1s a while - mine are just starting to come good after 350 miles. Mates took 500!

A cracking colour and with matching interior-very nice. Enjoy and a big welcome.

Hello from Rotherham!

Great looking Coupe, i have black and red 2 tone leather like your blue and black, looks awesome 8)

Hi, nice Coupe!

I'm planning to go with some Focal 165VR3 when I get the audio sorted on mine. I think you need something to correct the signal from the OEM head unit though, other members on here can advise. Although I'd like to keep the OEM look of the head unit I'm planning to replace it with a Pioneer DEH-P88RS-II.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments, I also noticed looking through the Meets and Events thread that there doesn’t seem to be many in the West Yorkshire region…Is that because there not too many z4s around here? or is it just because every travels out to meets further afield?

“Lucy” Hello from Leeds, I have seen a few pictures of your car on the site and may I say what a lovely set of wheels you have there and how shinny is that body work WOW!

“Incitatus” Thanks for the suggestion on the focals I have had a quick peak at them and have a couple of questions if I may?

Would these units be a straight swap size wise for the ones already there and also is the std head unit powerful enough to power these units as I am not wanting to mess about too much with swapping out the std unit out..its nice to have a good sound but the driving pleasure is more what its about for me.

You've got to be willing to travel at least county-wide to get to a meet. Most people are willing to travel to the next county too.
