The Turnpike did look after us, & i've sent them an e-mail to thank them.

What we need is a couple more of these similar sized location's, so we can rotate meets...thinking cap time :)

I actually enjoy the drives to & from the meet , then of course the chitchat & car park jolly up :driving:

Il throw a couple of possible venues , both visited many times, both great locations with plenty of parking & capable of accomodating 15 or so for breaky

BB8 7PP http://cafecargo.co.uk/ Nr Skipton

PR5 0SP http://www.boatyardinn.co.uk/ Nr Chorley

Nice one Andy, that's two. We could with a couple over Leeds side, Ruth/Tony? Mike? no rush :)

We need some your way as well Gaz. The more the merrier really. Local knowledge is key when sorting these places, parking coffee, bun fight etc :D

Tbf the Turnpike as a venue & location was spot on + £2.50 /head for coffee & cakes didn't even seem like enough :o full breaky next time

Had meets before at............

Cat and Fiddle http://www.catandfiddleinn.com/

Bull i th thorn .. http://www.bulliththorn.com/

But think thats a fair hike for the people up your way.... Great roads when the suns out though...

Gaz, It could well be we have run starting in this neck of the woods and include a bite to eat at one of those locations. All options on the table.

It's venues that members know that really help, like the two you've mentioned, ta

All thanks to your help Andy :D .

Thanks to Mark for occassioning and to everyone for making us so welcome. Turn out was great despite the forecasted weather. Looking forward to meeting you all at the next one.

Great photos.

Sharon

Glad you both enjoyed it Sharon, next one wont be too far away.

I like the May date Pete, just waiting for Ruth/Tony, & Mike to pop up with some ideas on venues.

Then I'll throw it out there to see where people fancy for the next one.

Everybody happy with that folks? all suggestions welcome :)
