Andy, know it well, to be honest you are only a spit and a fart away, should be less than an hour's drive with a clear run on a Sunday morning!

Go on, you know you want to

Hmmmm well we have never ever done a meet and I am so dubious about them but I am sure it would be great :) I sold my E85 and am waiting to pick my E89 35i up but the dealer is still waiting for the V5 to come back as it was a part ex and was on a private plate but I reckon I will get it a week on Saturday! North Yorkshire is very lovely in case you haven't seen it :D

Oh we will be seeing it all right Andy, we are very lucky to have the Dales, Yorkshire Wolds, East Coast, North York Moors etc.

Over the border - Trawden, Forest of Bowden, (Any more Andy?)

So hopefully, in the coming months we can plan a number of routes to enjoy our cars

I fully understand if you have doubts about a meeting, but rest assured the people planning on coming are a good bunch & you will be made to feel welcome :)

Hehe I would have no worries as I know they will be a great bunch it just might be too far across that awful M62 for us this time :)

Hi Andy I know you will all be great fun and we both love cake, I just hope my dealer eventually gets the V5 back for my 35i as I am so excited about that car :)

Right folks, either Sunday 22/02/2015 or 01/03/2015. Both dates give people a little more time to plan ahead.

I was thinking 10 - 10:30 am on either date.

Not sure if I/we can make either of these dates but will keep my eye out for the future.

andya1 - I'm sure there will be a run in the North York Moors this year - I would seriously recommend you go along. As the missus of a forum member I was wary of the driving but these are a sensible bunch, and a really great group to get to know.

My only problem is I'm hooked. I have my own Z4 now and I would be off driving with these guys even if the hubby wasn't able to go [emoji2]

Been a keen reader and occasional writer on the forum for a few years and I've promised myself I'll do a couple of meets this year. I'll be keen to join you if possible as just a short run over from Bolton (not far away from Bigosean in Westhoughton?) and should be okay for both dates. Will keep an eye out for details.

Yes not far away from me at all, I live in Westhoughton and work at the Ford Dealership in Bolton. That said, 1st March isn't great for me so next weekend would be favourable if the weather is ok :)

Thought so. Saw your post about a wander around Westhoughton. I'm in Over Hulton so know W'ton pretty well. Im the Valencia Orange Zed you past on the M61 last year when you were out having fun in the sun!

Yes I remember it well, we did have a good sprint! Ha ha. I did wonder if it was anybody off here. We will have to get out and have our own 'mini meet' maybe up to rivington one afternoon.

We need to just pick a date and go for it. We need to start making a list of who is coming

Yep you're right Taz,

Right folks,

I have arranged the 'Catch up/Meet' for 10 - 10:30 am Sunday 01/03/2015 at the Turnpike Inn,Oldham Road, Rishworth, Calderdale.

The post code for Sat Nav users is - HX6 4RH.

The Inn is located in a rural location, just off junction 22 of the M62. It is a large property & can be seen from the M62 Motorway, behind Booth Wood Reservoir.

I've spoken to the staff at the locus, & given them a 'heads up'... breakfast, buns, Croissant, tea, & coffee, will be available to purchase on the morning.

I know some can't make it on this occasion, but the plan is to have plenty of meets/runs, as we have a good number of forum members in this area.

Long may it continue

Please let me know if you are attending & I will add to the list.

As I said Z cars are optional, but on this occasion it's an opportunity to put faces to forum names, & get to know each other better :).

Looking forward to it fellas.

Cheers Mark

Sounds like a good plan for the spring. I'll keep an eye out for you in and around Westhoughton.
