No, no. Get a 3.0 you'll regret it if you don't.
Funnily enough I have one that I could be persuaded to sell to a good home.
03 plate 3.0 manual that has just turned 55k miles. Sterling grey, black leather, xenons (just de-gingered the front lights), cruise control, carver/logic 7 hi-fi plus all the usual standard stuff like memory seats, auto lights/wipers etc.
In my ownership i've fitted the clear lights, clear side repeaters with new badges, aux in, alcantara gear gaiter and armrest/handbrake gaiter, BMW performance handbrake and gear knob, aluminium pedals, carbon wrapped the dash (I'm happy to put this back to standard as the aluminium underneath is perfect).
The car has a full history in terms of every stamp in the book. The 3 previous owners are all local guys that I know. First was a local businessman who owned it for 4 years, he then sold it to his brother who owned it for the next 3 years. He then sold it to his friend James Smyth who is a director at Supagard. It was James weekend toy/garage queen. He had the car coated with one of their most expensive products and although I'm regarded as ridiculously anal about paint condition I have to say this car is immaculate for it's age. There are a few very minor stone chips on the front bumper although very minor for it's age. Other than that Columbo couldn't find a mark on this thing.
I bought the car 4 months ago at the beginning of the summer that never appeared. I'm a car tart and I've taken a notion for something different so I'm just trying to get some of my money back on the Z. I paid £6500 for it 4 months ago.
