Yet another speaker question

Had to pull the doorcard to replace the window regulator, and noticed something interesting.
I have the S676A system in the car, and can visually confirm 10 speakers. However, I don't have an amp as far as I can see. One of my previous Z4s had the amp in the hole in the boot where the battery also lives, but there's nothing there.
Now while I had the doorcard off, I see there's only ONE connector for the door mid-range speaker. Can't find another connector at all after rummaging through the door and finding all the end points of the door wiring loom. However, the speaker itself has two connectors on the back. Photo of the connector (blue one) below.
Is this normal? Do the mid-range door speakers only use one connector? Should there be another? Am I missing an amp?

On the facelifts, the amp is mounted on the rear bulkhead under the carpet. All 10 speaker systems in the Z4 have one.

As far as I can remember the door speakers only have one connector, with two wires, which are spurs off the tweeter loom.

Thanks for the amp location, will find it then.

So seeing one connector with two wires coming out of the door would be correct? I did t pay attention which of the two terminals on the speaker it was removed from, would that matter?

Sounds right. The plug probably only fits one terminal. But just test it before you fit the door back together.
