Yet another roof thread!

Hi all.

My roof used to work up and down although it needed a little assistance at the beginning on the way down.

It was suggested to me that the relocated motor may have kinked hoses. I removed the parcel shelf to gain access to have a look, couldn't find any sign of a kinked hose and put it all back together.

Guess what?! That's right, it no longer works at all! I've tried refitting the parcel shelf, I've removed it again and tried frigging the micro switch but to no avail. There is no noise from the motor at all.

A penny for your thoughts? Many thanks in advance.

Thanks for the offers guys, but I want to do it myself hence why I asked on here. I turned out to be a hydrolocked pump I think. All sorted now. Cheers.
Well in 20+ years of the E85 roof motor, you've encountered the first hydrolocked pump.
What makes you think a perfectly working system would suddenly decide to develop a 'hydrolock'? Especially as there is nothing in that system to even start to cause such a thing to happen.
Whst did you do to make it work it again.

BTW, (just in case @Dadzilla is watching), if you tell me you turned the motor upsidedown I will be unable to refrain from a derisory comment.
