Hey everyone, been kicking around this forum for a little while and picked up this 2005 2.5i SE model a couple weeks ago. Have already learned loads from the posters here and am definitely becoming a bit obsessed. Last night finally found some time to give her a decent clean and even managed to get a decent polish/wax on the front end. Going to stretch her legs this long weekend with a run up to Wales, so if anyone sees us give a wave.

Cheers.

Welcome to the club! I've owned mine for about a month or so now, and loving it. :D
Where are you in the UK?

Guiseley - am down in Surrey, so quite a ways from yourself. It sure seems like most of the members on here are from the north.

Rudd - yeah, the wife said 'Sure would be nice to be able to drive with the top down this summer.' And I said 'Okay, how's this?'. I now drive around with a somewhat giddy passenger most days.

even in winter with the roof down its quite cool, you dont really feel the cold.

any additions/mods planned? has it already got a stubby aerial?

welcome- its ace to enoy ur z- especially when ur better half enjoys it!
But watch out - the Zed's become my wifes favourite transport :) - so it often goes missing from the garage if she's first up :( (Knew I shouldn't have bought the Auto!)
p.s. There are plenty around in Surrey - and watch out for a new grey Cayman with black wheels near Virginia Water - that might be my kid brother.

Funny you mention that - there is a rattle I've noticed that only seems to be there when the hood is up and seems to be coming from somewhere in behind the passenger seat...any thoughts?

yeah, I went with an auto so that she is able to drive it, but it doesn't mean she's allowed to drive it. But really, she's only driven with me in the car, and I've made her nervous enough about damaging something that she's been holding back.
