Yet another ///M Coupe with CSL's & Strut now ;) UPDATED

hey sammyz yeh i feel i can notice a difference as it feels much more sturdy although not harsh, got it from my dealer whilst also buying some fitted sunblinds for my 1 series at the same time and got 15% off ;) so i think i paid just under £200 for the brace.

in my opinion tis a worthy buy.

Well i've only checked my rears  which were 34, so i'm guessing the fronts will be 32, 33 or 34. Stating the obvious, I haven't really experimented yet.

Gotta get me a brace. Spoke to a guy with a Z4MR at my first Z4 meet recently who had the strongstrut fitted - he was pretty pleased with it and claimed it made quite a difference...

Just bear in mind that the brace makes a more significant difference to the roadster than it does the coupe, as the roadster is less rigid due to the soft top.

so how much are the skirts then?

I paid £430 for them supplied and painted after a bit of negotiation. I did ask for a price to fit them but they refused to do so because they aren't listed on the BMW system as an option for the M model. That saved me a few quid because the fitting is straightforward.

Thanks DGM i read somewhere that some modification is required... also if they were sprayed off the car whats the colour match like?

No modification is required, they are exactly the same fitment as the originals. The colour match in my case was first class, you would think they had been sprayed at the same time as the rest of the car. Below is a link to the fitting instructions on zed-cars.EU
