I recently bought this low profile trolley jack from Halfords for £40. It's low enough for my E86.
Also got a jacking pad from ebay.
The saddle cup on the jack is removable and discovered that if you take it out the jacking pad sits neatly in the saddle
. I did have to shave a whisker off the pad to make it fit. This also gives slightly more clearance should you need it.
