Yet again K+DCAN cable for 2016 e89 for coding

Hello everybody,

I have been trying to fit a Mr 12 Volt MMI in a 2016 e89 and struggling to find the right cable and software to do the recoding for the lack of CDC. I have been following BMW z4 MODS video on this which is excellent but am a complete novice so have spent about 10 hours so far tying to do the retrofit with the car interior in bits...anyway...

1. Many of the cables available on ebay or amazon do not mention compatibility with e89, or if they do they state only up to 2013 models - does anyone know of the correct spec of cable to work with the NCSExpert tool to do this?

2. Can anyone advise on the correct NCSexpert software/location that can run on Windows 11? I have spent a morning searching and searching, getting part way there, but I'm not really confident I have the best source...is the F1 chassis effectively the same as e89?

Its the HIFi HB Professional stereo/Nav system that's installed.

All versions run on most windows versions so 11 should have no issues

F1 chassis is not compatable with E89..you are looking for E90 type options..
