Yellow lights on the panel.

Hi all,
the car is a 2008 e85 2.0i. Sorry, just four pots. It is what it is.
About ten miles after having the off side front lower suspension arm replaced for the m.o.t. , the brake warning, the triangular warning, and another one l can`t remember now , all yellow, came on. The roll back facility has also stopped. The last one l find troubling.

Now, as we all are aware, fun costs money.

This sounds expensive. Also, if l may ask, has anyone else had an advisory on their mot of corroded coil springs ?

More than likely an abs sensor issue

Get the code for a look
Clear code
See if it returns

Yes had advisories before for corroded springs

If it’s rear springs, they are dead easy to remove and replace. You can scrub/sand/emery off most of the corrosion and they will be fine, but they will break eventually. Or you can replace them for as little as £64 or so, if you get lesjofors from someone like autodoc or Carparts4less.

Fronts are more difficult, but you can get good access to tidy them up just by removing the wheels.

Get the codes read to find out what it is. I've got the same car 2007 and my initial trifecta cause was the front reluctor rings were gone so the speed sensor kept failing. Dead easy job to change. Just make sure you have a scaffolding pole to attach to your breaker bar as you'll need the leverage. Parts - I picked up a pair for £45 I think it was (the rings come on the hub, it doesn't matter if you go for the teeth one or the ladder one, both work and are interchangeable).

Funnily enough, my issue occurred a few miles after I changed my front two lower suspension arms too... but the hub/reluctor ring were rotten so I'm sure just a coincidence.

Corroded coil springs - yes. My rear ones. Like others have noted, easy to change.

I'd hazard a guess the ABS sensor on the corner you had worked on.
I had to resort to using a hammer to remove a brake disc once and the shock through the hub killed the sensor.
A decent code reader will tell you which one for certain.
