Yellow DSC, TPS and handbrake on with steering problem

I was driving tonight, stopped at a petrol station, when I restarted the car, I had the warning lights above all come on. More importantly the steering was pulling badly to the right. My first thought was a flat tyre, I have got it home and checked the pressures and they are all spot on. I have checked the wishbone, drop links and springs and they all seem fine. The steering is does not go through its revolutions smoothly , there appears to be stiffer flat spots. Recently I had been feeling the steering was n't right, when parking I would whizz it to lock to lock and it felt like there was a delay in the assistance. It generally felt crap, I was wondering whether that was just electric steering systems or an actual problem.

I have seen from searches the lights coming in is not uncommon but the physical steering issue is.

Does anyone have any ideas?
 
firstly check battery voltage as Electric steering saps alot of the power at low speeds, when you are using alot of assistance. Got a bit of an issue with my car at the min got a 2006 3.0 si. Came up torque sensor fault. First had the issue when i full locked the wheel. Since ive had the codes deleted been ok since
 
May also just be a steering angle sensor speaking with Bmw today regarding my little issue and he mentioned this could send your dash into an xmas tree :?

sounds plausible. Try disconnecting battery for say 20 mins, to reset everything. Then full lock wheel left, then full lock right, then return to centre. Should reset steering angle sensor then
 
I had it recovered to the dealer. The BMW assist guy said steering angle sensor. The dealer says it need a full geometry assessment to diagnose the issue. KDS report said front left individual toe was +0*01' and right -0*05''. The target data is +0*09', my settings were meant to be severe enough to cause the steering to pull and create the sensor problems. Bearing in mind it suddenly happened and not gradually, as well as the tyre measurements being spot on 6mm across the whole tyre despite 14k miles of wear, indicating no irregular wear issues I am not convinced. Anyone have any thoughts?
 
it wouldnt suprise me if they are right, as the steering angle sensor is related to all the traction control modules. Steering angle sensor is the only part on the steering column you can replace anyway. Sometimes its just dirt gathered on the sensor that sends it haywire. You have the facelift model so the steering problems have been ironed out.

i wish i bought the M version now to get hydraulic steering
 
Just to let you know mate my similar issue i think including a slight steering pulling came down to pressure sensor number 2. 150 quid at an indie and seems to have done the trick. Dno if the steering pull was just tramlining on dodgy roads though.... Or in my head maybe
