Thought I'd take the zed out to get a paper this morning - checked sky - okay . It's about 4 miles from our village to paper shop - just pulled in at the shop and there's a slight shower :o My car gets a sprinkling of rain :( first rain it's seen in the two years of my ownership !!

Am I sad or what

Had snow, sleet, hail & rain in the space of an hour this morning.

Was going to clean it whilst it was dry yesterday, but now I'm glad I left it filthy!

Spent all morning this morning cleaning mine... Dusty as hell now from all the salt on the roads and it's going to rain later... And I will need to go out :( Never mind, got some roof down action earlier so it's all good.

Just keep an eye on yours gov, that little sprinkle of water may be enough to cause it to rust immediately and fall apart

Fully understand your anguish. Zeds not been out of the Garage this weekend, due to slight dampness, in the Cornish air.

What colour is it now? Just wondered if it was painted with emulsion, but you've only just realised! :D

Pheww - it's back in the garage now - there was a few droplets on the roof and several really noticeable drops on the boot lid - I managed to get a these dry by dabbing with some sheets of soft kitchen roll - I left it for an hour to ensure it was completely dry then put the indoor cover back on.

Might take it out on Wednesday when the forecast is sunny and dry ( provided the road puddles have also dried up )
