Yaw sensor compatability - E86 Facelift

Following a previous post, it seems that I have had water ingress into the footwell that has fried my yaw sensor - the sensor i'm looking to replace is part number is 3452 6769174, which are available but not cheap!

I have read several posts suggesting that the 6764018 is compatable, but nothing seems conclusive. Can anyone advise me if the pre facelift (3452 6764018) sensor will work as a replacement for the original? - I have limited facilities (i.e. don't have the ability to recalibrate/recode etc) - I need it to plug and play - Altenatively, if anyone has a post facelift yaw sensor (6769174) going cheap, or can suggest another part number that will plug & play, I would be interested.

I can 100% confirm that a pre-facelift WONT work in a facelift model.

You plug it in and the warning lights go off. However the moment you move the car the warning lights come back on.
 
I have sensor 6769174 that got wet, after buying second hand, the 3 lights go off but after running for 5 minutes, they come up.
Do you know what could be the cause?? Do i have to recalibrate something? It is the same sensor number
