Yatour wiring

I've got one of the Yatour devices to fit in place of a cd changer in the boot. In addition to the two connectors there are two additional wires one to be connected to a permanent live and another to the ACC switched live. Any ideas as to where I might find those in the boot?

The CD changer wiring has a permanent live connection but as far as I’m aware there’s no ACC switched live in the boot area.

On the similar device I bought the two fly leads could be coupled together to power the device permanently. I ended up returning It to the eBay seller because it never powered down and drained the battery. Some devices such as the Grom unit seem able to work properly without a switched live, presumably because the have a proper sleep mode.

I did try the device with a fly lead to the battery but I couldn't get it to play the music properly even though I followed their instructions on how to organise the music files on the SD card. It would only play track one and the skip and random functions did not work. Luckily I purchased it from Amazon and have already got the refund and have purchased the Grom USB3 device, lets see how well that works

I have never succeeded in finding a true aux in the boot area and I am in the process of adding my own. I have a feeling there is a radio switched supply (only live when radio is on) in the boot for the antenna. If your device is only for use with a radio, it may be possible to use that, but check fusing, wire gauge and the current required by your device (would expect it to be signal load only TBH).
